So you want a custom framebag?

Follow this simple guide and lets make it happen!

How does it work?

At Hungry, we use state of the art imaging software and the skills of highly trained operators to turn your vision into reality! We take your perfectly shot photo of your bike and transform it into a perfectly fit bag!

What do we need from you?

We need the perfect photo!

To ensure the correct fit of your new custom framebag, you need to take just the right photo for us to work with.

First! Are you going to run bottles/cages on the inside of your frame? Make sure they are installed before taking this photo and we can design around them!

Here’s the process!

  1. Attach a measurement to your frame!

If you’ve got a nice high res camera (like a DSLR!) you can use a ruler or tape measure, something with very precise increments. Make sure your camera is able to focus on them from 4-5 metres away!

If you’re using your phone, measure out a piece of paper, or tape, or anything that you know the exact length of, and attach it to the frame.

Attach the measurement to the top tube, making sure you’re not obscuring the insides of any frame tubes!

  2. Stand back 4-5 metres and get your camera ready!

You need to stand this far back so the bike “flattens out” and the correct perspective is obtained. Ideally, you can only see one chain/seat stay, and one fork leg as the others are hidden perfectly in line behind the front one.

  3. Position your camera in line with the centre of the frame!

You should crouch down to do this. It’s important that you’re shooting straight at the middle, not pointing down or up at the middle. If you want to be sure, take a measurement from the floor to the centre of the frame, walk back the correct distance, and place your camera at that same height.

  4. Review your photo!

Check that it fits the criteria! Images should be clear, well lit (best bet is to do it outside in the sunshine!) and in focus! Zoom in and check that you can read the increments on your measuring device (a little blurry is okay, as long as we can understand what each unit is!). Make sure the bike is “flat” as described in step 2!

  5. Send us your photo!

If it’s perfect, perfect! If you’re not 100% sure, send us an email at hello@huuungry.com.au and we can confirm for you. Then we’ll get the process started! Yeehaw!
